Sanchi Bohra | Founder

With a background in psychology and an international certification in soft skill training, Sanchi has worked with various schools pan India in the capacity of a teacher, mentor, trainer and consultant, with a decade long experience in the education field.
Her experience as a fellow and mentor at Teach for India (sub set of Teach for All, based out of the USA) allowed her to work with the grassroots of the Indian Education system while absorbing the best pedagogies and teaching and learning practices followed globally.

She has the experience of individually training over 800 teachers across the country, 1000 students in soft skills and 500 parents through enrichment programs and setting up two K-12 schools pan-India. Being around schools and enhancing learning processes has always been a passion area for Sanchi and her biggest driving force for what she does, which eventually led to the birth of Ikegai.

Hema Nair | Co-Founder

Hema comes with the experience of having led and taught in schools, across curricula, for over two decades. She has been the founding member of an education start-up and was instrumental in leading several projects to set-up K-12 schools and engaged closely with the school leadership to create systems and processes to promote educational excellence. Additionally, she has skilled thousands of teachers and school heads in a wide range of areas from enhancing pedagogical skills to developing emotional intelligence and team building, amongst others, to encourage an environment of quality teaching-learning. Hema brings the same energy, experience and like mindedness to Ikegai Education Labs as co founder and is key and setting up the ethos and structure of the company.

Susiieben Shah

An entrepreneur, politician and social activist, she is thoroughly invested in the social and economic development of backward and poor society. Women empowerment has been Susiie's mission, as she believes that women are important building blocks of society, along with being a strong advocate for improving government provided education for children. Susiieben Shah holds various positions such as President of Stree Shakti Kendra, former Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Commission for Women and Children, Vice-president of Mumbai Mahila Congress, Committee member of Women and Child Committee, Indian Merchants Chamber, and General secretary of Malabar Hill Citizens Forum.

Malvika Agarwal

Malvika Agarwal comes with tremendous experience in teaching- learning and pedagogy, being an alum of the prestigious Harvard Graduate School of Education. All things classrooms and teachers are what drive Malvika’s passion. Teacher for India being her Alma Mater, Malvika has the experience of working in the grassroots of the education space and is currently working with Reality Gives Foundation in the capacity of a school leader, mentor and trainer.

Jashan Sippy

Jashan Pravesh Sippy is an architect and founder of Sugar & SPACE, a food-focused design and innovation agency creating meaningful connections for a sustainable food future. Jashan has an impressive body of work across continents, having curated and facilitated custom food design experiences for people from all walks of life in North America, Europe and Asia.
